Albertus Magnus College awarded 537 undergraduate and graduate degrees at its 92nd commencement exercises on Sunday, May 17. Many student-athletes participated as well.

The Albertus Magnus women's basketball team defeated St. Joseph's College (Brkln) on Jan. 5 in a non-conference game at the Barclays Center, home of the NBA's Nets, in Brooklyn, N.Y. In addition to the victory, junior Lianna Carrero (Hamden, Conn.) scored her 1,000th career point.
With a dunk at the 16:46 mark of the first half, Darius Watson became the 11th all-time Albertus Magnus men's basketball player to score 1,000 career points. The Falcons went on to win the game 93-86 over the Mount Ida Mustangs.
The Albertus Magnus men's soccer team won the 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship on Saturday, Nov. 3 with a 6-5 shootout victory over Norwich University.

The Albertus Magnus Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) volunteered in its Second Annual Campus Clean-Up on Friday prior to the college’s Nov. 12 Open House.
On Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, Albertus Magnus College held its Athletics' Hall of Fame Induction on its campus in New Haven. Candice Giordano Damico '03, Jay Wyatt '03, Natalia Perlaza '05 and Tim Russell '05 were honored as the Hall of Fame Class of 2011.
