John Sudusky was named the head coach of the Albertus Magnus College men's and women's cross country programs in 2011.
Sudusky, a Milford resident, currently teaches for the Hamden Public School system. He began his coaching career in 1999 as an assistant coach at Amity Regional High School in Woodbridge, Conn. before moving to Hamden High School in 2004.
Beginning with the 2008 season, Sudusky became the head boys' indoor and outdoor coach at Hamden High School and led both programs to incredible success, earning the 2009 New Haven Register Indoor Coach of the Year award and leading Hamden's indoor team to the 2010 Class LL State Championship, the 2010 New England Championship in the 4x800m Relay and the 2010 National Championship in the Medley Relay. In outdoor track, Sudusky's team repeated as the New England Champions in the 4x800m as he led his team to a National Championship in that event as well.
Sudusky is a 1995 graduate at the University of Connecticut and holds a Master’s Degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Health Education.
