Wielk is entering his seventh season working under head men's basketball coach Mitch Oliver.
Wielk played four seasons at St. Joe's High School in Trumbull, Conn. before moving on to a successful college career at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. He was named captain of his team for his senior season at Nichols as well.
Wielk has had coaching stints at Platt Tech High School, Westbrook High School and most recently, Notre Dame of Fairfield High School.
