New Haven, CT- The Albertus Magnus College Men's Soccer Team dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting GNAC opponent Lasell College on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons struck first off the foot of sophomore forward Mike DaSilva (Stratford, CT) in the 7th minute of play off a serve from freshman Nick Hamasian (Hamden, CT). After holding the 1-0 halftime lead, Lasell College scored three times including two goals off the leg of senior midfielder Shane Vinnicombe (Pomfret Center, CT) to earn the 3-1 victory. Albertus Magnus College drops to 4-3-1, 1-2 GNAC while Lasell College improves to 5-2-1, 2-0-1 GNAC. Albertus Magnus College travels to Westfield State on Wednesday for a 4:00pm kick-off.
