The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team suffered a devastating 3-2 loss late in the second overtime of the first round of the GNAC tournament to host Norwich University. The Falcons finished 10-7-1 on the season narrowly missing out on an ECAC berth. The young Falcons lose three seniors but just one starter, keeper Gerald O'Connor (Hamden, CT). The Falcons were a balanced scoring threat this season with Third Team All-Conference sophomore forward Jamal Howard (West Haven, CT) leading the team with 11 goals including five game winners. Sophomore Midfielder Kyle Kelly (Trumbull, CT) and freshman defender Nick Hamasian (Hamden, CT) were also named Third Team All-Conference. The Falcons have much to look forward to next season as they will have 17 players returning, including 10 starters.
