Saturday Soccer Games To Begin One Hour Later
New Haven, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Soccer game scheduled for 1:00 pm Saturday has been pushed back an hour and will now be starting at 2:00 pm. The Women's Soccer game originally scheduled for 3:15 pm will now be starting at 4:15 pm.

New Haven, CT - On Wednesday night, the Albertus Magnus College Mens Soccer Team opened the season with a late 2-1 loss in the second overtime. The Falcons struck the back of the net first with a finish off the leg of sophomore midfielder Nick Hamasian (Hamden, CT) in the 32nd minute.

2010 Men's Soccer Season Preview
The Albertus Magnus College Mens Soccer Team returns 14 players from last season including 12 who were significant contributors to the 2009 team success that had a record of 10-7-1. The Falcons also welcome a very strong recruiting class with 11 new players joining the team this fall. The Falcons have high expectations this season as they look to capture GNAC title and automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

The poll is voted on by conference coaches and compiled just before the start of the season. The Falcons finished 10-7-1 last season while just missing out on an ECAC postseason berth.

New Haven, CT - Albertus Magnus College Men's Soccer Head Coach Jim Bernardo has announced his team captains for the 2010 season. Senior Defender Pete Hamasian (Hamden, CT) was named captain for the second straight season along with Junior All GNAC Forward Jamal Howard (West Haven, CT).
