NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Colleen Edwards (Clinton, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus softball team and Charlie Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) of the men's golf team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performances this past week.
Edwards batted .318 with seven RBI and six runs scored as the Falcons went 7-1 on the week. On the defensive side, the senior shortstop added 14 putouts and eight assists during that span.
Kristofak led the Falcons to a couple victories against Old Westbury and MCLA this week. He was the top finisher against Old Westbury on Thursday, shooting a seven-over par 77. The senior finished with a 78 in his final home match on Tuesday against MCLA. He shot a 37 on the front nine and had a birdie on the tenth hole.
