NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Gabby Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's golf team and Andres Mendez-Suarez (East Haven, Conn.) of the men's soccer team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performance this past week.
Dellacroce was the medalist for the Falcons in their victory over Eastern Connecticut State University on Monday. She shot a career-best, 19-over par 89. The junior made a total of seven pars - including three straight on holes 6-8.
Mendez-Suarez assisted Aiden Coelho (Naugatuck, Conn.) in the 84th minute to seal a 2-0 win over Hunter on Saturday. The first-year now has a goal and two assists on the season.
