Welton and Piselli Honored as Falcons of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Ella Welton (Cliffwood, N.J.) of the Albertus Magnus College field hockey team and Nick Piselli (Milford, Conn.) of the men's golf team were named the Takin' Flight Falcons of the Week for their performance this past week.

Welton earned her first shutout of the season, finishing the day with three saves as the Falcons won their first game of the season in a 2-0 victory over Elms on Sunday.

Piselli helped the Falcons finish second overall in this week's men's golf GNAC Championship at New Haven Country Club. He finished tied for ninth individually and was named to the All-GNAC second team after shooting an 81 on both days.
