NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Amelia Boulli (Torrington, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College softball team and Alexander Heidel (New Britain, Conn.) of the baseball team were both named Falcon of the Week for their performances this past week.
Bouli was the hero for the Falcons in game one of the doubleheader against Simmons as her walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th lifted the Falcons to the 3-2 win.
Heidel pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts in the game two win over Norwich on Saturday. Heidel struck out the side to open up the top of the first. His nine strikeouts were a career-high.
