NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus College women's golf team and Noah Grosso (Farmington, Conn.) of the baseball team were both named Falcon of the Week for their performances this past week.
Martin took home individual medalist honors with a 16-over par 86 against Westfield State on Tuesday at New Haven Country Club. She birdied the third hole and had six pars on the day. On Monday, she finished second place individually at the Hartford Hawks/Wintonbury Hills Women's Spring Invitational. She carded a 17-over par 87 with one birdie and seven pars on the day.
Grosso is batting .421 in his last 5 games including two multi-hit games. The freshman went 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI in a 7-6 road win over Wesleyan (Conn.) on Tuesday. On the season, he's batting .305 with five RBI, 13 runs and four stolen bases.
