Falcons Thrive Academically During Recently Completed 2025-26 Academic Year

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The recently completed 2025-26 academic year was another stellar one in the classroom for the Albertus Magnus College Athletics Department and its student-athletes. The Falcons closed out the 2025-26 academic year with an average student-athlete GPA of 3.23.

Albertus student-athletes have finished each of the last five academic years with an average GPA above 3.2.

In total, the Falcons featured 12 programs with an academic year GPA of 3.0 or higher, with 291 Dean's List selections. 

The men's ice hockey team led all teams with a 3.88 overall GPA during the recently completed academic year, followed by the women's golf with a 3.56. Five programs – men's ice hockey, women's ice hockey, softball, women's golf and men's tennis – all closed the year with a team GPA at 3.5 or higher.

The Spring, 2026 semester saw 12 teams post a GPA of 3.0 or higher. There were 131 student-athletes named to the Dean's List, with 39 student-athletes recording a 4.0.

During the Fall 2025 semester, 12 programs recorded a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. There were 160 student-athletes named to the Dean's List, with 44 student-athletes recording a 4.0.
