Kobylanski Recognized with 25-Year Award by CSC

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Michael Kobylanski was honored as a recipient of a 25-Year Award by the College Sports Communicators on June 10. The recognition took place at the annual CSC Convention in Las Vegas.

Kobylanski is finishing his fourth year as Director of Athletics at Albertus Magnus College. He is in his eighth year as an Athletic Director after 17-plus years leading athletic communications efforts at Quinnipiac University and Southern Connecticut State University.

Even in serving as an AD in his last two stops, Kobylanski never remains far from his athletic communications roots. He has continued to serve as a writer, photographer, videographer, broadcaster and even a statistician to help promote the efforts of his teams and student-athletes. Kobylanski's proudest professional accomplishment is the fact that he has mentored nearly 40 young professionals to various positions across all three NCAA Divisions, the NJCAA, MLB, NHL, and NFL franchises, along with local and regional media outlets.

He is an active member of the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization and has been recognized for his volunteer work by the organization in each of the last 11 years (2015-25). Kobylanski is a current member of the CSC Mentoring Program. He previously served on the CSC Career Services Committee.
