New Haven, CT - Albertus Magnus College freshman outfielder Zak Sokolis (Meriden, CT/Maloney) was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for his outstanding performance this past week. 

Sokolis batted an impressive .476 while while scoring three runs and belting four doubles in a 2-4 week for the Falcons

The Falcons defeated Emerson College 13-2 and 5-3 while dropping 7-3 and 8-2 losses to Lasell College during the past week.

Albertus is 5-14, 2-2 GNAC and hosts GNAC opponent St. Joseph's College (ME) for a doubleheader on Thursday at 3:00 pm.
