NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Vance Ward (Norwalk, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus baseball team earned honor roll recognition as the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its weekly awards for games played through Sunday, March 16th.

Ward collected seven hits on a .467% batting average (7-for-15) and two stolen bases while going 10-for-10 in putout attempts defensively.

In a 19-7 victory over Gwynedd Mercy, Ward went 3-for-6 with three runs scored. The senior outfielder went 3-for-5 with another three runs scored in a 12-10 win over Lakeland on Friday.

The Falcons open up conference play with a doubleheader against Dean at home on Saturday, March 22nd with the first game starting at noon.
