HAMDEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's golf team defeated SUNY Cobleskill in a dual match on Tuesday afternoon at the par 70 New Haven Country Club.
The Falcons finished with a 40-over par 324 while SUNY Cobleskill shot an 82-over par 366.
Charles Kristofak (West Hartford, Conn.) was the medalist in the event as he led the Falcons with a 6-over par 76 that included three birdies. He shot an even-par 37 on the back nine.
Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) shot an 9-over par 79 and birdied the 18th hole
Andrew Buckholz (New Haven, Conn.) shot a 14-over par 84, while Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.) finished a shot behind Buckholz with one birdie. Sam Witt (Calgary, Alberta) shot an 89.
Josh House finished with the top score for SUNY Cobleskill with a 10-over par 80.
The Falcons will host SUNY Old Westbury on Thursday at New Haven Country Club.
