Hester Earns Medalist Honors Once Again In Men's Golf Tri-Match With NEC And Norwich

HAMDEN, Conn. - Pierson Hester (Nashville, TN.) shot a six-over par 76 en-route to medalist honors as the Albertus Magnus College men's golf team finished in third place in a match against Norwich University and New England College on Wednesday afternoon at New Haven Country Club.

The Falcons finished with a 65-over par 345. The Pilgrims of NEC won the event with a 43-over par 323, followed by Norwich with a 54-over par 334.

Hester had one birdie on the day on the par four 15th hole. He shot a 38 on both the front and back nines. He started his round with five straight pars.

Kyle Sikorski (Norwich, Conn.) shot a 16-over par 86 with a birdie on the par four eighth hole. Mason Sassu (Rocky Hill, Conn.) shot an 87 with a birdie on the 15th hole and Michael-Anthony Ramsay (Montreal, Quebec) shot a 26-over par 96.

Hester won the event by two strokes over Harrison Giambattista of Norwich and Graham Hassan of NEC. It is the third time this season Hester has taken home individual medalist honors.

Up next, the Falcons will host the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship at New Haven Country Club on October 13-14th.
