NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team lost a 4-2 game to No. 7 SUNY Geneseo on Friday evening at Ralph Walker Ice Rink in the team's first United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) game.
Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta) scored a goal in his fourth consecutive game while Justin Sullivan (Laval, Quebec) scored in his third straight game.
Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) had a season-high 44 saves in net for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams exchanged power play goals in the first period as Danny Bagnole got on the board first for Geneseo on the 11:19 mark after firing a shot from just beyond the faceoff circle. Kindrachuk responded with his fifth goal of the season less than three minutes later as he rebounded a shot from William Lavigne just in front of the net and stuffing it home to make it a 1-1 game at the 13:47 mark. Connor Bertamini (Calgary, Alberta) also added an assist.
- A scoreless second period saw Hale stop 15 shots in net for the Falcons.
- The third period saw Geneseo take the lead after two straight goals. At the 5:45 mark as Alex Dameski took a shot from the right faceoff circle after a pass from Carter Diceman. Ten minutes later, the Knights scored on another power-play goal from the left faceoff circle as Ryan Forberg scored.
- Albertus got back within one with 62 seconds left as Sullivan skated the length of the ice with the puck and fired a shot past Geneseo goaltender, Jacob Torgner to make it a 3-2 game. However, Geneseo added an empty net goal with 36 seconds remaining to seal the win.
