NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Sam Lozinski (Calgary, Alberta) was named United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Co-Rookie of the Week for his contributions to the Albertus Magnus men's ice hockey team this past week.

Lozinski scored his first two career goals as the Falcons took home a 3-2 win over the Post University Eagles in a non-conference road matchup on Tuesday.

He followed up that performance with another goal in a 4-3 overtime victory over Connecticut College on Saturday.

The first-year forward now has three points in four games this season.
