NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team split the weekend with Nazareth as the Falcons won a United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) matchup against the Golden Flyers of Nazareth University on Saturday evening, 2-0 at Ralph Walker Ice Rink.
Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta) scored both goals for the Falcons.
Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) earned the shutout in net, making 40 saves, as well as 1,000 career saves in the win.
Prior to puck drop, Kindrachuk, Caden Pattison (Lake Stevens, Wash.), Connor Bertamini (Calgary, Alberta), Sam Witt (Calgary, Alberta), Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario), and Kyler Campbell (Huntsville, Ontario) were honored for senior night.
Albertus earned the fifth seed in the UCHC and will face Nazareth once again - who is seeded fourth - on the road in the first round of the conference tournament on Wednesday, February 25th at 7 p.m.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons established the momentum early in the first period when Sam Lozinski (Calgary, Alberta) found Kirwin, who delivered a perfect pass to Kindrachuk in front of the net. Kindrachuk capitalized, scoring his tenth goal of the season.
- Kindrachuk added his team leading 11th goal of the season with an empty net goal at the buzzer to seal the win for Albertus on senior night.
- Hale had a standout night between the pipes, making 40 saves to help seal the win for the Falcons.
