NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Chace Hale (Pittsburgh, Pa.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's ice hockey team was named the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Co-Goaltender of the Week.
In his start on Saturday against Nazareth in the team's regular season finale, Hale earned his 12th win of the season, stopping all 40 shots in the 2-0 shutout win. During the game, Hale made his 1,000th career save, becoming the second in program history to accomplish the milestone.
Hale and the Falcons, seeded fifth in the upcoming UCHC tournament, will take on No. 4 Nazareth in the quarterfinals on Wednesday in Rochester, N.Y. at 2 p.m.
