For the second time this season, Mike Choiniere (Bethany, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus men's lacrosse team has been named the ECAC Offensive Player of the Week for New England.
Choiniere, who was tagged as GNAC Player of the Week as announced Monday, tallied nine goals and eight assists on the week for 17 points. In a 26-12 win over GNAC opponent Daniel Webster, the sophomore attack scored seven goals and dished out six assists. Choiniere took 15 shots with 12 being on goal, while collecting five groundballs.
In a loss to Lasell College, he scored two goals and had two assists, being involved in four of the six goals scored by the Falcons.
On the year (as of Sunday, April 6), he led the Faclons with 50 points with 22 assists and 28 goals scored.
