NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team lost a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game to the Pilgrims of New England College, 13-3 on Saturday afternoon at Celentano Field.
The Falcons saw goals from three different players: Hayden Grigas (Milford, Conn.), Nicholas Longo (Ridge, N.Y.), and Marcus Burrows (West Haven, Conn.).
Alexis Gonzalez (Edison, N.J.) got the start in goal for Albertus, making 12 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pilgrims jumped to a 5-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Owen Taylor started the scoring with two goals. Andrew Pepka connected with Matt O'Rourke for the next two Pilgrim goals. Shane Helman added the fifth goal of the quarter.
- The Falcons got on the board first in the second as Grigas ripped the ball to the back of the net after taking a pass from Longo.
- The Pilgrims responded with four of their own, including two from Helman, to put NEC up 9-1 going into the half.
- The third quarter saw two man-up goals by the Pilgrims from Evan Zonderman and Pepka. Taylor added one more to increase the lead to 12-1 going into the fourth.
- At the six minute mark in the fourth quarter, Taylor added one more Pilgrim goal to give NEC a 13-1 lead.
- The Falcons picked up a pair of goals late in the fourth quarter, courtesy of Burrows and Longo.
