NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Alec Kovalsky (Orange, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men's lacrosse team was named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) All-Academic team.
To qualify for the NEILA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must have a senior or graduate student standing with no eligibility remaining or plans to use their eligibility in New England, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team.
Kovalsky played 59 career games for the Falcons in his four seasons, picking up 66 ground balls with 50 caused turnovers, two goals and an assist.
