AMHERST, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team lost a 3-1 match to defending Division III National Champions Amherst College on Wednesday evening in a non-conference game.
Lorenzo Lauria (New Haven, Conn.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Amherst got the scoring started in the 28th minute on a goal from Leo Wilensky who rebounded his own header after a save by Albertus goalkeeper David Lucero (East Haven, Conn.) and kicked it in to make it a 1-0 game.
- The Mammoths scored twice just 40 seconds apart in the 73rd and 74th minute as Obed Opoku scored a goal into the right corner of the net followed by Wilensky's second goal of the game.
- Lauria scored his first goal of the season just two minutes later on a pass from Aiden Coelho (Naugatuck, Conn.) for the final tally of the game.
