NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Three members of the Albertus Magnus College men's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Joao Oliveira (Middletown, Conn.) was named to the team, along with Bennett Walsh (Springfield, Mass.) and Donaldo Yanez (West Haven, Conn.) were all named to the team.
Oliveira, a senior criminal justice major, appeared on the CSC All-District Team for the second time in his career. He appeared in 18 games as a defender, scoring one goal - a game-winner - on the season.
Walsh, who is pursuing his master's of business administration appeared in 18 games on the season, scoring a goal and an assist while playing midfield.
