Men's Tennis Announces 2016 Schedule

New Haven, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College men's tennis Head Coach Bob Migliorini (5th season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2016 season. In total, the Falcons will take to the court 11 times this spring, highlighted by seven home contests.

Coming off the best season in program history, Albertus Magnus returns a strong contingent of student-athletes led by All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) performer Peter Zacharias. Last spring, the Falcons finished 8-2 overall and went a perfect 5-0 at home. The team netted shutout victories against six different opponents, including Rutgers-Camden in league play. In 2016, the team will look to build on last year's successes.

The Falcons open the season with back-to-back home matches against Becker (3/24) and CCNY (3/26) in late March. Albertus Magnus ends the first month of the regular season with a road non-conference clash at the Culinary Institute (3/28).

In April, AMC welcomes Brooklyn College (4/3), Ramapo (3/9), Mitchell (4/14), York (4/17) and Rutgers-Newark (4/23) to campus for home matches. In the final month of the regular season, the team will see road contests at CCNY (4/2), Wheelock (4/10) and Rugters-Camden (4/16). Albertus Magnus ends the year with two straight home matches.
