NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Eric Chamandy (Montreal, Quebec) of the Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team was named to the All-City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) First Team, and Peter Keese (Minnetonka, MN.) was named to the second team as the conference announced its all-conference teams on Wednesday.
Chamandy and Keese become the first men's tennis players to be named to an all-conference team since the 2022 season.
This season, Chamandy finished 6-3 in singles play - including 5-1 in CUNYAC matches - while also winning three doubles matches. He also won four of his last five regular season singles matches, including a singles and doubles win at York that clinched a CUNYAC tournament berth for the Falcons in their first year in the conference. Chamandy was also named to the CUNYAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
Keese also went 6-3 in singles matches this season, and was 4-2 in conference play. He also went 4-3 in his doubles matches. He won three of his last four CUNYAC singles matches and four of his last five regular season doubles matches.
