NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Four members of the Albertus Magnus College men's tennis team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's Tennis Academic All-District Team.
Eric Chamandy (Montreal, Quebec), Peter Keese (Minnetonka, Minn.), Zane Kindrachuk (Calgary, Alberta) and Bailey Kirwin (Barrie, Ontario) were all named to the team.
Chamandy, a junior Cybersecurity major earned his first nod on the CSC Academic All-District Team. Earlier this season, he was named to the first team of the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC).
Keese, a sophomore accounting major, made the team for the first time in his career. He also was named to the All-CUNYAC team earlier this season, being named to the second team.
Chamandy and Keese will both have their names put on the CSC Academic All-American Ballot, which will be voted on by CSC members.
It is the second time Kirwin, a senior majoring in business management has made the a CSC Academic All-District Team, as he made the CSC At-Large team a season ago.
Kindrachuk a grad student majoring in accounting made the team for the first time.
