The Albertus Magnus men's volleyball team enters the 2015 season with a handful of familiar faces and veteran players to go along with its new face at the helm of the program in head coach Kelvin Jones. Jones is entering his first season with the Falcons and will be assisted by Associate Head Coach Steve Wydra.
The Falcons' 2015 schedule features 18 matches as eight of those contests will be played in New Haven against Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponents.
The Falcons are coming off an 11-12 season in 2014 as they finished the league with a 5-11 mark.
They begin the 2015 campaign on Jan. 24 on the road at Mt. St. Vincent for a tri-match before heading to Boston to open GNAC play at Wentworth on Jan. 29.
Albertus will hold its home opener on Feb. 8 at noon against Johnson and Wales of Rhode Island.
The month of March will prove to be a busy one for the Falcons as they will play nine matches during that time, including four-straight at home from March 19 through the 26th.
The Falcons' final home match of the regular season will take place against the Lasers from Lasell College on March 26 before their final regular-season match on April 4 at Emerson against the Lasers once again.
The Falcons are looking to make it into the GNAC Tournament for the first time since the 2012 season.
