New Haven, Conn. – Albertus Magnus College men's volleyball Head Coach Kelvin Jones (2nd season) has announced his team's schedule for the upcoming 2016 season. In total, the Falcons take to the court 22 times, highlighted by 14 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) tilts and nine contests in front of their home crowd at The Nest inside the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.

Albertus Magnus is coming off a 3-15 campaign last year, which featured a pair of conference wins.  Three of the team's top-four offensive threats return this winter as does the squad's top setter. The Falcons look to continue on the late season success from 2015 with a versatile and deep core of veteran returners.

Albertus Magnus opens the season with three straight road games, traveling to conference foe Wentworth (1/28) in the opener before heading to the Empire State for non-conference clashes with Brooklyn College (2/3) and CCNY (2/8).

The Falcons return to New Haven for three of their next four matches in mid-February, beginning with the home opener versus Brooklyn College (2/10). After a road game against Medgar Evers (2/13), AMC hosts a tri-match versus CCNY (2/21) and Medgar Evers (2/21). The squad closes out the second month of the calendar with a road conference game at Mount Ida (2/24) and a tri-match in New York versus Lancaster Bible (2/27) and York (2/27).

The team from the Elm City opens March with back-to-back home GNAC clashes against Lasell (3/1) and Emerson (3/5). Albertus Magnus then hits the road for a season-long six-game stretch away from The Nest. During the road trip, the Falcons square off Lasell (3/10), Emmanuel (3/19), Emerson (3/19), the Saints (3/22) a second time, Rivier (3/26) and Johnson & Wales (3/26).

Albertus Magnus ends the regular season with four home league tilts in a row, welcoming Wentworth (3/29), JWU (3/31), Mount Ida (4/2) and Rivier (4/2) into the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center.
