HAMDEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's golf team competed in and won its first ever match, defeating SUNY Cobleskill, 4-0 in a nine-hole match play contest on a windy day at the New Haven Country Club.
Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) won her match against Lily Tobin, 1-up, winning the match on the final hole. Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) won 2&1 over Isabella Keilbach.
Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) won her match 4&3 over Baylee Kirschberg 4&3 as she won four of the last five holes.
Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) won 5&4 over Maya Cardenas-Powell, winning the last five holes of the match.
The Falcons will take part in the Westfield State Spring Invitational on Saturday, April 12 at Cold Spring Golf Course in Belchertown, Mass.
