WESTFIELD, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus College women's golf team finished in fourth place at the Westfield State Invitational on Sunday afternoon at the par 71 Tekoa Country Club.
The Falcons finished with a program-best 110-over par 394 on the day. Suffolk University won the tournament with at 37-over par, followed by Nichols College (+72) and Keene State (+76) to round out the top three.
Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the Falcons, placing ninth after shooting a 17-over par 88. Martin had six pars on the day.
Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) finished three shots behind Martin and had three birdies on the day, including two on the back nine.
Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) shot a 102 with a par, and Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) shot a 113 with a par. Lila Whitney (Canton, Conn.) shot a 125.
Krisna Mahendran of Suffolk was the individual medalist, shooting a 3-over par 74.
Up next, the Falcons play in the George Phinney Classic, hosted by Middlebury College on September 20-21.
