HAMDEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's golf team defeated Eastern Connecticut State University in a dual match at the par 70 New Haven Country Club on Monday afternoon.
The Falcons finished with a 112-over par 392, while ECSU finished with a 180-over par 460.
Gabriella Dellacroce (Woodbridge, Conn.) was the medalist for the match, shooting a 19-over par 89, including seven pars. She made three straight pars on holes 6-8.
Molly Martin (Buffalo, N.Y.) finished second overall, two strokes behind Dellacroce at 21-over par, which included five pars. She also had three straight pars on holes 8-10.
Tori Walsh (Marystown, Newfoundland) had two pars and finished 32-over par, while Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) had a par while shooting +40. Lila Whitney (Canton, Conn.) finished at +51.
