FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Alana Laser (San Jose, Ca.) scored both goals in regulation and the lone goal in the shootout as the Albertus Magnus College women's ice hockey team extended its unbeaten streak to eight games as the Falcons tied Framingham State, 2-2 (OT), and won the shootout, 1-0.
The Falcons are now 7-0-1 on the season.
Laser scored goals in both the first and third periods. Kayla Clark (Avon, Conn.) and Blayne Dussold (Union, Mo.) each had an assist on the day.
Jess Trocchio (Holtsville, N.Y.) stopped 21 shots on the day in goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Laser put the Falcons on the board first at the 10:03 mark of the first period as she received a backhanded pass from behind the net by Clark and put the shot past Framingham State goaltender, Brigid Milligan to make it a 1-0 game.
- Less than two minutes later, the Rams tied the game on a power play as Sarah Lewis dropped a pass off to Molly Murphy who ripped a slap shot into the back of the net to make it a 1-1 game.
- The teams went scoreless in the second period as Trocchio stopped all seven shots she faced and Milligan stopped eight on her end.
- Laser once again gave Albertus the lead in the third period. This time, it was on a power play at the 6:29 mark. On the goal, Dussold raced down the ice with the puck all the way down to the end line and found Laser with a centering pass who finished the play with a goal, giving Albertus a 2-1 lead.
- The Rams tied the game with 62 seconds left as Murphy scored her second goal of the game, weaving through four Albertus defenders and scoring, making it 2-2.
- After a scoreless overtime, Trocchio stopped Adrianna Rizzotto on the first attempt for the Rams. On the first Albertus attempt, Laser beat Milligan with a backhand for the lone goal of the shootout. Trocchio was able to make stops on Murphy and Lewis to give Albertus the shootout.
