NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-2 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup against Dean College at Celentano Field on Saturday.
Alexys Signor (North Haven, Conn) and Moira O'Brien (Wilbraham, Mass.) both connected for a goal for the Falcons, while Delaney Schlechtweg (Goshen, N.Y.) assisted one tally.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, the Bulldogs connected for 11 unanswered goals with four from Natalie Peterson and two by Haley Gaunt.
- After a turnover by Dean and a ground ball by Jennae Williams (Stratford, Conn.), Albertus recovered the ball went on the offensive as Signor drew the foul for a free position goal and a 11-1 game at the 12:10 mark of the third quarter.
- With 9:39 remaining in regulation, O'Brien tabbed the Falcons' second goal of the game. Schlechtweg forced a turnover in the scoring zone and scooped the ground ball before the quick pass to O'Brien.
- The visitors netted two more goals with eight minutes left on the clock for the 17-2 edge.
