NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team fell 22-1 to close out the regular season on Tuesday against Lasell University in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup.
The Falcons honored both their seniors, Amber DeJonge (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Ashani Baxter (Hyannis, Mass.) prior to the opening draw.
Julianna Montano (Wallingford, Conn.) scored for Albertus, while Briony Retasket (Beaverton, Ore.) recorded an assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The visitors took a 17-0 lead through the first half, including four goals from Kaitlin Bedell and Emily Watson, along with three by Alice Rourke.
- After Albertus won the draw to open the second half, Retasket carried the ball around the net before a side pass to J. Montano through traffic on the far corner of the crease, who lobbed the ball over the heads of a Laser defender and goalkeeper, Tia Spenlinhauer to put the Falcons on the board at 13:50 in the third period.
- Lasell tacked on five more in the remaining two quarters.
