NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team lost a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) game to the Cadets of Norwich University, 22-1 at home on Celentano Field Saturday afternoon.
Sage Sonsini (Milford, Conn.) scored the only goal for the Falcons, with an assist from Tiffanie Ly (Branford, Conn.).
Victoria McDermott (Northford, Conn.) got the start in goal for Albertus, making a career-high 15 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cadets scored six times in the first quarter with three coming from Caitlyn Fielder. Sienna Caron, Lauren Labbe, and Colby Magoon also had a goal each.
- Norwich began the second quarter with a pair of goals from Athena Merck and Sophie Albright.
- The Falcons answered back with a goal from Sonsini after taking a pass from Ly.
- With under a minute remaining in the half, the Cadets found the net two more times to go up 10-1.
- Norwich continued their scoring in the third quarter as they netted seven goals. Albright and Breanna Ricker each had two.
- Norwich added five more goals in the fourth quarter, two coming from Tori Jarvis. Labbe also scored her third of the game in the quarter.
