NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's lacrosse team lost a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup to the Pride of Regis College, 17-3, in the team's season finale, Wednesday evening at Celentano Field.
Seniors Alexys Signor (North Haven, Conn.) and Tiffanie Ly (Branford, Conn.) each scored a goal on their senior night. Briony Retasket (Beaverton, Ore.) also scored a goal for Albertus.
Victoria McDermott (Northford, Conn.) started in goal for the Falcons, making 14 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pride took a 5-0 lead after the first quarter. Serenity Ayala scored the first three goals, and followed that up with an assist on the fourth goal.
- Regis continued into the second quarter with five more goals, Teal Galligan opened the scoring, followed by a pair of goals each by Ayala and Molly Higgins to put Regis ahead 10-0 after 30 minutes of play.
- At the 2:45 mark in the third quarter, Albertus got on the board as Delaney Schlechtweg (Goshen, N.Y.) sent the ball from behind the net to Ly to put it away for the score.
- Regis responded with three goals from Margo Gurney, Higgins, and Anna Theriault.
- With about three and a half minutes left in the quarter, Retasket put one on the board for the Falcons.
- Ayala answered with another score, putting the Pride up 14-2 going into the final quarter.
- In the fourth quarter, the Pride added three more goals, courtesy of Maddie Sainato, Emerson Adams, and a free-position shot by Ayala.
- With just over a minute left to play, Signor scored the third goal of the game for the Falcons. Schlechtweg had the assist, her second of the game.
