STANDISH, ME. - Amy Stevens (Lincoln, R.I.) set the all-time career saves record in program history as the Albertus Magnus College women's soccer team played Saint Joseph's College of Maine to a 1-1 draw in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action on Saturday afternoon.
Stevens, who needed three saves to break the record coming into the game, finished with six saves, setting the new mark at 318. Stevens broke the record previously held by Maria Case (2012-15) of 314 saves.
Taya Bagley (Foster, R.I.) scored the lone goal for the Falcons, her second goal in as many games.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bagley scored her fifth goal of the season in the 12th minute to open up the scoring for the Falcons as she took a shot from outside the 18-yard box and bent the ball over the head of SJC goalkeeper, Ashlyn Guerette into the top far corner of the net to make it a 1-0 game.
- Just seven minutes later, the Monks tied the score up as Sydney Gallop redirected a shot off a free kick by Lelia Weir to tie the game up at 1-1.
- The record-breaking save from Stevens came in the 25th minute of the game off a shot from Bridget Davis.
- Stevens finished with five saves in the first half.
- Albertus had eight shots on goal in the second half, but were unable to get another goal across.
