10 Falcons Named to NEISDA 2021 Spring All-Academic Team

WESTON, Mass. – The Albertus Magnus College women's swimming & diving team had 10 student-athletes earn New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) 2021 Spring All-Academic Team honors.

In order for a swimmer or diver to make the All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher. The 10 Falcons recognized were part of 195 student-athletes (male and female) to reach this benchmark.

The list of Albertus honorees includes Megan Anderson (Levittown, N.Y.), Crisbeth Castañeda (Guatemala City, Guatemala), Eliz Castaneda (Guatemala City, Guatemala), Chisunta Chikwamu (Lusaka City, Zambia), Jesly Cortez (Norwalk, Conn.), Arle Cruceta (Salcedo, Dominican Republic), Roxhensa Dilolli (Plantsville, Conn.), Ana Lucia Gutierrez Gomez (Hermosillo, Mexico), Arooba Sholmiyet (Islamabad, Pakistan), and Joselyn Streeto (New Haven, Conn.).

Founded in 1920, The New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) is a coach-run association made up of 20 Division III member institutions from six Conferences in New England. NEISDA annually sponsors and administers a championship for those qualifying swimmers and divers in February. For more information go to www.NEISDA.com.
