WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's and women's swimming teams kicked off their seasons in the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) Pentathlon on Friday evening.

On the men's side, Alexander Wynn placed in 30th with a total time of 3:41.37. He had a time of 31.01 in the 50 yard butterfly, 37.95 in the 50 yard backstroke, 44.63 in the 50 yard breaststroke, 28.05 in the 50 yard freestyle and 1:19.73 in the 100 yard individual medley.

For the women's swimming team, Alyssa Defeo finished in 48th place with a total time of 4:14.59. She had a time of 39.07 in the 50 yard butterfly, 48.35 in the 50 yard  backstroke, 42.81 in the 50 yard breaststroke, 35.07 in the 50 yard freestyle and 1:29.29 in the 100 yard individual medley.
