NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College men's and women's swimming teams competed in the  meet against Western New England, Regis College and UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday.

On the women's side, Mia Cortes took home the win in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:38.92. She also placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:14.32 and second in the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:28.26.

Alyssa Defeo had a personal best in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 3:17.58, the 100-yard breaststroke and the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 33.76.

On the men's side, Alexander Wynn placed second in the 1650-yard freestyle (21:12.73), the 500-yard freestyle (6:09.12) and the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.11). His times in the 1650 and 100 yard freestyle were both personal bests.
