NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team dropped its opening Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match to the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Celentano Courts.
In singles no. 1, JuJu Oliver (New Britain, Conn.) made a run at Olivia Santoro, but ultimately lost 6-2, 6-4. Four of the remaining five singles matches ended 6-0, 6-0 in favor of the Blue Jays.
Up next, the Falcons head to Sarah Lawrence on Friday, September 6 at 6 p.m.
