NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Albertus Magnus College women's tennis team lost a 7-0 match to Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) on Thursday afternoon.
The Wolves won all three doubles matches, 6-1. In singles, Tiffanie Ly (Branford, Conn.) put up a tough battle against Eilynn Pierre, but ultimately lost 6-4, 6-2 in No. 3. In No. 4, Hope Williams (Stonington, Conn.) dropped a close 6-4, 6-3 match.
It was Senior Day for the Falcons as Ayanna Perez (Ansonia, Conn.), Shawna Glasgow (Bridgeport, Conn.) and Ly were all honored prior to the game.
