Third year Men's Basketball Coach Mitch Oliver was named the 2009-2010 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.  The Falcons led the conference in scoring (81.3 ppg) and finished the season 19-6, 15-3 GNAC.  The Falcons one the regular season GNAC championship, receiving the #1 seed in the GNAC tournament and home court advantage throughout the playoffs.  The program's turnaround has been nothing short of incredible.  In just his third season at the helm, Coach Oliver has elevated the Falcons to new heights and respectability throughout the North East.  The Falcons were previously ranked 9th in New England.  The Falcons look to capture the GNAC postseason championship on Saturday at 1:00 pm vs. Emerson College.  The winner of that game receives and automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.  The Falcons eliminated Emerson College in opening round of the playoffs last season in convincing fashion 78-50.
