For the fifth time in the last six seasons, the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team will play in the Division III NCAA Tournament set to begin Friday, March 6. The Falcons are 27-1 on the year, one of the best records in DIII men's basketball, and will face Springfield College at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA in first-round tournament action.

The Falcons and Pride will meet for the first time in program history. Albertus has won its last 26 games and won their fourth-consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship title on Saturday with a 13-point win over Johnson & Wales (R.I.).
The Falcons have five players averaging double figures in points scored and are averaging 95 points per game as a team. Albertus also holds the longest active home-court winning streak in the nation at 57-straight games.
Springfield earns a spot in the coveted NCAA Tournament with an at-large bid after falling to Babson in the NEWMAC Tournament final on Sunday. Springfield, one of 19 teams who earned at-large bids, is 19-8 on the year as three of its losses have come from the NEWMAC Champion Babson Beavers.
