Ljuljdjura​j, Sledge Named ECAC New England All-Stars

Seniors Victor Ljuljdjuraj (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Tavon Sledge (Spring Valley, N.Y.) of the Albertus Magnus men's basketball team have been named 2015 ECAC Division III New England All-Star Teams as announced this week by the ECAC.  Both earned First Team honors.

Ljuljdjuraj, a 2015 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division III All-American, is one of the Falcons' 1,000-point scorers in program history. He earned second team ECAC All-Star Team honors last season.

Ljuljudjuraj was named a Sporting News 2014-15 Preseason All-America Second Team selection and was named to D3hoops Preseason All-America Third Team. He was Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week three times, ECAC Co-Player of the week, and ECAC Player of the Week. He scored his 1,000th point on February 26, 2015 in the GNAC semifinal round victory against Saint Joseph's College of Maine.

The senior was named the GNAC Tournament MVP and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team. He was named GNAC Player of the Year, GNAC Defensive Player of the Year, and was named to the GNAC All Conference First Team. In addition, he was named to the All-Northeast Region First Team for D3hoops.com. Ljuljdjuraj was selected and played in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Star Game and was named MVP for the contest.  He was also named to NABC All-Northeast First Team and was an NABC Division III All-America Second Team selection. He was also named to the D3hoops.com All-America Second Team.

Sledge was named to the 2015 GNAC All-Tournament Team as well as the All-Conference First Team. He led the Falcons with 20.3 points per game and shot over 35% from behind the arc.  He was named GNAC Player of the Week twice and earned All-Northeast Region Second Teams honors as well.
