Freshman Fernando Branco (Naugatuck, Conn.) has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

In one game played, Branco scored a goal in the Falcons' 4-0 win over Suffolk on Saturday.  The score was his second of the season.

Teammates Griffin Volta (Orange, Conn.) and Lindsley Barrett (Shelton, Conn.) were both named to the GNAC Weekly Honor Roll.  Volta recorded nine saves on the week, including seven in a 1-0 loss to the GNAC regular-season champion Johnson & Wales (R.I.).  

Barrett netted two goals in the Falcons' 4-0 win over Suffolk, including the game winner.
