HOW IT HAPPENED

  • It didn't take long for the Falcons to get on the board as Lauria scored his first goal of the game in the fourth minute as he received a cross in the box from Aiden Coelho (Naugatuck, Conn.) and put the ball in the back of a wide-open net.
  • In the 34th minute, a free kick from Colby Nardelli (Berlin, Conn.) went into the box, was headed by Lauria, and then headed by Abayomi off the finger tips of UHart goalkeeper, Cristian Vitti into the net to make it a 2-0 lead, one which the Falcons held into halftime.
  • Antonio scored his first goal of the season in the 51st minute off of a free kick just outside the box, around a five-man UHart wall and off the fingertips of a diving Vitti to give Albertus the three-goal lead.
  • UHart got on the board on a header from David Czubat off of a free kick in the 63rd minute.
  • Lauria put the exclamation point on the win in the final minutes. After his initial shot was stopped by Vitti, the rebound came back to Lauria who hit a rocket of a shot from close range into the far side of the net.
